Hello! My name is Miranda, I am a white queer trans woman who has been living in amiskwaciwâskahikan for 26 years. I have been practicing massage therapy since the early days of 2020 and am excited to announce that I will be offering my services from an independent practice located in the historic Gibbard Building.
I am dedicated to making my practice safe and accessible for the LGBTQ2S+ community, in particular trans and gender nonconforming folks. I have experience treating conditions caused by chest binding, repetitive stress injuries, acute and chronic injuries with a variety of causes, as well as aid in chronic pain relief. I leverage my strength and finesse to combine deep tissue therapeutic techniques with grounding and relaxing intentions to relieve pain and promote a sense of wellbeing and being at home in your body.
I am an extremely COVID-conscious person and as such mandatory masking is still in effect at appointments. I will be wearing an N-95 and running a small air filter in the space; please come masked and prepared to wash/sanitize your hands. The space I work out of is accessible by 2 flights of stairs or an accessibility lift. I accept payment via debit or credit card and direct billing is available for insurance. Any questions may be directed to Mahar.RMT@Gmail.Com and I hope to see you soon!
*Sliding scale available for the LGBTQ2S+ community, email mahar.rmt@gmail.com to discuses specifics.
